The Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions is made up of four affiliated unions – Unite, GMB, Community and Prospect. We represent over 100,000 affiliated union members in collective bargaining agreements with major employers like BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Babcock and many more.
The CSEU campaigns on issues affecting these members in aerospace, shipbuilding, defence, rail and other industries with skilled people working in advanced engineering and manufacturing.
It also provides Trustees to the Board of the Alex Ferry Foundation, a grant making charity established in 2018 to operate a Community Grant Scheme and a Research Grant Scheme to empower communities and individuals and lead the debate around a better working world.
